Delete your account
You can request permanent deletion of your Periapsis account and the user content associated with it.
Send the request
- Email info@periapsis.space from the address registered to your Periapsis account.
- Use the subject Delete my Periapsis account and include your Periapsis username.
- If needed, complete the verification step we send to confirm that you control the account.
What is deleted
After verification, Periapsis deletes the account profile, password credential, Google identity link, active sessions, email-verification records, saved user satellites and orbital definitions, and the account's uploaded mesh and texture metadata. Uploaded content-addressed files are removed when they are no longer referenced by another valid record.
Timing and limited retention
Periapsis aims to complete verified requests within 30 days. Minimal records may be retained for longer only where reasonably necessary for security investigations, fraud prevention, legal claims, backup rotation, or a legal duty. Public scientific catalogues and launch records are not tied to your account and are not removed.
Before you delete
Deletion is permanent. Export or retain your own copy of any TLEs, orbital elements, meshes, and textures you want to keep. If you only want to remove one saved satellite, use the delete control for that satellite in the application instead.
